Entry is now open for the Gore Bike Wear TransWales 2010 (powered by Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport) mountain bike stage race, which starts in Builth Wells on 14 August.

The course, covering around 550km over seven days, will include fresh singletrack and challenging new sections this year to keep both newcomers and TransWales veterans happy. Full details will be available soon.

New for 2010 will be specific hill climbing, descending and trail riding stages, which should help find the best all-round riders in the crop. A final special stage on the last day should make for a thrilling climax.

To enter, go to the TransWales website.
