Spain's Rotor had their new 3D crank, S3X handlebar and stem, singlespeed ring and road chain catcher on display at this year's Eurobike trade show.

3D crank

The new aluminium 3D crank is lighter than Rotor's current 3D offering, weighing in at a claimed 475g for the 170/110 BCD version (without bottom bracket and chainrings). It uses a 30mm diameter aluminium axle and is compatible with BB30, BBright and any classic BSA threaded frames. It’s available now for around €439.

S3X bar

Rotor have also launched a new S3X handlebar weighing in at a claimed 120g and made from carbon fibre with titanium reinforcement at the stem and bar-end clamping zones to protect against pinching or scraping. The 31.8 S3X is 580mm wide and has a five-degree sweep. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.

S3X stem

The carbon-friendly S3X stem has been completely redesigned for 2011 too, with the inclusion of a stress-reducing steerer tube clamp which uses a single bolt and insert. This is a proven system, already used on the company’s 3D crank, which helps spread the tightening forces more evenly than two bolts and reduces deformation stresses in the clamp. Sizes available are 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130mm. Prices to be confirmed.
