To celebrate their 90th anniversary, UK bike shop chain Evans Cycles are releasing a limited-edition Pashley-built touring bike. Based on the iconic British company's Clubman Country model, they hope this hand-built, steel-framed bike will evoke memories of the FW Evans machines of the 1950s and 60s.
Designed for high-mileage rides on non-race days, the bike is finished with a Brooks leather saddle and bar tape, Stronglight Impact triple chainset, Sturmey Archer bar-end shifters and Dia-Compe DC750 centre-pull brakes.
Only 26 will be made initially, although this could rise to 90 depending on demand. Each bike will be individually numbered and finished in British racing green. They're available to pre-order now, with Evans expecting the bikes to arrive in around four weeks, priced £1,645. Visit Evans Cycles for more details.
