Brisbane based FE Sports has just announced a new partnership with Ridley Bicycles to not only distribute the brand into Australia and New Zealand, but also offer local custom paint and finishing services.
“We wanted to provide the discerning Australian cyclist the same level of customisation and personalisation available from the factory in Belgium” Danny Brkic Vice President of FE Sports said.
Custom paintwork is a hallmark of the Ridley's heritage as it was originally founded as a frame painting outfit in the 1990’s. “Painting a carbon fibre frame to the Ridley standard is not easy," Jochim Aerts the CEO of Ridley explains. "We are excited about the new partnership as this allows us to duplicate in Australia what makes us so successful in Europe.”
Ridley will provide the completed frames without paint and FE Sports will give customers the choice of either a stock Ridley pattern, or something completely custom. Both framesets and complete bikes will be available.
