Sugoi have given us a sneak peak at their spring 2010 clothing collection, which will debut at the London Cycle Show in October.
The range includes both cutting-edge sports gear and relaxed urban styles for commuters and leisure riders. Here are some of the highlights.
HOV (Human Operated Vehicle)
Sugoi’s HOV urban commuter line combines relaxed cuts with breathable fabrics that are designed to look as good in the office as they do in the saddle.
The women’s HOV jacket is made from durable yet breathable Mobil Carbon fabric, with a feminine, slim-waisted cut, three front pockets, a high collar and adjustable cuffs with reflective accents. RRP is £90.
Race + Recovery compression clothing
For Spring 2010, Sugoi are introducing a compression wear line called Race + Recovery (R+R) which uses their new polyamide-based Piston fabric. This is said to combine low weight with powerful compression.
The Piston 140 Arm Sleeve (£30) and Piston 200 Leg Sleeve (£40) are said to improve performance, reduce fatigue, enhance muscle stability and allow faster recovery.
RSE (Racing System Equipment)
RSE is a new range of high-end racing and training apparel that features advanced chamois technology, tight-knit breathable fabrics that cut through the air and Zone Construction for a great fit.
The men’s RSE 10-panel bib short (pictured below left) is made of Ultra Profi, an all-season fabric that is said to deliver superior moisture transfer, muscle support, stretch and recovery.
The short features Sugoi’s latest tri-density foam FXE chamois with Vcontrol dampening technology, mesh upper panels for ventilation, a back pocket and leg grip. RRP is £110.
A women’s version (pictured above right) is also available for the same price which features a female-specific chamois and straps.
The RSE jersey is also available in men’s and women’s versions. Made of ultra-lightweight Gobi fabric, it features 3D panelling, flat seams, a full zip, three elastic back pockets and a traditional collar. RRP is £70.
