Pinarello are launching a new road bike, the FP7 Carbon. Described as "an elegant and aggressive silver arrow" it will be second-from-top in their range, just below the Prince.

The two bikes share the same frame design, but the FP7 is made from 46HM3K carbon fibre, compared with the Prince's higher-end 50HM1K.

The FP7 comes with an Onda carbon fork, Campagnolo Veloce 10S groupset, Continental Ultra Sport Pinarello tyres and finishing kit from Pinarello's in-house brand Most.

The frame is available in 14 sizes, including four women's sizes, and four colour combinations – white/silver/red; red carbon; white/blue sky; and Team GF (white/blue/red). Claimed frame weight is 1,098g (size 54).
