Ison Distribution were displaying many new products over the weekend at BikeRadar Live, and of special note was the new Salsa El Mariachi titanium 29er.
Built from 3/2.5 seamless titanium, and based on the geometry of the steel El Mariachi , this £1699.99 frame is designed to be used with 80mm-travel suspension forks and will fit tyres up to 29×2.3in.
Highlights include a biaxial ovalised down tube, replaceable derailleur hanger, welded-in water bottle cage bosses and pewter-look Salsa Lip-Lock seat collar. Claimed weight is 3lb 11oz for the XL.
Ison also had the £375 Big Block frameset on show from All City Cycles. This is a UCI track-legal fixed gear frame made from 4130 chromoly steel.

Features include dimpled chainstays, plus dropouts with built in chain tensioner and the HennepinBridge icon – the bridge in Minneapolis where All City Cycles are based.
