Troy Lee Designs have unveiled the custom painted D3 helmet that they've created for the legendary Nico Vouilloz.

Ten-time mountain bike world champion Vouilloz retired from professional downhill racing in 2002, but is now well and truly back in the game after making the move to enduro racing.

Nico currently rides and develops Lapierre’s trail bikes, and his return to racing has also seen a return to one of his first sponsors, Troy Lee Designs.

Troy Lee Designs are renowned for their coveted gear and helmets. But when you make it to the top of your game, the world of TLD gets even more awesome, and if there was ever a stamp of success in the world of mountain bike racing, it’s a custom painted Troy Lee helmet.

And just look at this beauty – a fine example of classic lines with some corporate colours to show Nico’s affiliation with his frame sponsor and employer, Lapierre. Pretty sweet if you can get it, which of course you can – if you’ve got the speed or the cash to go custom.
