Genesis has recalled the steel forks on three bikes from the company’s 2015 range due to long-term durability concerns. The brand is offering a free replacement for all affected customers.

The three bikes featuring the forks in question are:

  • 2015 Genesis Croix de Fer 10 bike, Rosso Red.
  • 2015 Genesis Tour de Fer frameset, Matt Silver.
  • 2015 Genesis Croix de Fer 20 bike, White.

Genesis says: “While there is no immediate risk to safety and there have been no reported failures, we have chosen to recall these forks and to replace them, free of charge, with a brand new fork.

“Customers who have bought these models should urgently contact the authorised Genesis dealer where they bought their bike or frameset to have a replacement fork fitted free of charge.”

Replacement forks feature the brand’s winged ‘G’ logo on the inside of the blade. If you own one of the above bikes and the fork does not feature this decal, now’s the time to get in touch with your local Genesis dealer to arrange a fork change.
