BIkeRadar's Ben Delaney caught up with Andrew Juskaitis of Giant Bicycles at last month's Eurobike show to talk about some of the most exciting tech to come from the world's largest bike brand.

Giant has redesigned its popular TCR Advanced road bike from the ground up, knocking a claimed 181g from its frame weight despite maintaining the efficiency the model is now renowned for.

Giant's third priority for the TCR was of course comfort, and the use of a new seatpost was introduced to improve just that. The integrated post, dubbed the Variant, offers fore/aft deflection that aims to reduce rider fatigue.

Juskaitis also took the time to explain Giant's new road shoe, the Surge, which uses technologies that – just like the TCR – aim to deliver maximum efficiency and comfort to riders.

Check out the new bikes, products, gear and technology on show at Eurobike and Interbike 2015.
