The fourth round of the Halo British Downhill Series takes place this weekend (7-8 August) in Moelfre, north Wales.

Over 300 of the UK’s top downhill riders are confirmed for the race, including last weekend’s World Cup winner Marc Beaumont and current downhill world champion Steve Peat.

The course – originally designed and built by Dan and Gee Atherton – has been improved for this weekend’s event with the addition of several large berms, jumps, a car-sized kicker and new corners and switchbacks.

Trade stands and refreshments will be available all weekend, plus parking, camping and spectating is free. For more information, head to http://www.britishdownhillseries.com/events/main.html.
