The 2011 UK sportive season, save for the odd winter event for the more hardy rider, is at a close and our sister magazine Cycling Plus is looking for your favourite.
Just looking at the list of rides over on their competition page shows how popular they’ve become in recent years. From huge one-off events like the Fred Whitton and Exmoor Beast to the Action Medical Research 100 events and the Wiggle Super Series, the choice is a tough one.
Just head over to the competition page, choose a favourite and submit your details. If your favourite event isn't listed then send us an email at cyclingplus@futurenet.com, put Sportive of the Year 2011 in the subject box and give us your opinion. Anyone who enters will be entered into a prize draw, with one person selected at random winning a goody bag of cycling gear plus two tickets to the London Bike Show next January. A further nine people will also receive a pair of free tickets to the show.
