K-Edge – makers of those popular chain catchers and the trick Ki2 Shimano Di2 mountain bike conversion kit – just announced a new handlebar mount for the Garmin Edge 200, 500 and 800 computers.

K-Edge's new mount places the computer ahead of the bar and in-line with the stem for a sleek appearance and more direct line-of-sight. We expect the all-aluminum construction to be sturdy and durable. The extension length is adjustable depending on computer and stem model.

The new mount is far from cheap at $50, but buyers will get high-quality machined aluminum construction made in the US, a trio of anodized finishes and a lifetime guarantee.

Claimed weight is 30g and the new mount is available now in the US.
