K-Edge's new Aero Race Mount has upped the ante on previous mounts by being designed to integrate with the aero shaping of the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt.

K-edge introduced its Race Mount last year and the pros have been tested it on the race-circuit since. This new model was spotted at the Tour of Flanders earlier this month and on Peter Sagan’s Paris-Roubaix winning bike,

The mount was designed in conjunction with Wahoo and is shaped specifically for the the Elemnt Bolt. It should combine the stability and security of a K-Edge mount with the claimed aerodynamic advantage of the device.

We gave the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt 4.5 stars in our review last year.

Weighing in at 35g, the mount is machined from aluminium and has a replaceable quarter-turn Wahoo attachment insert. It clamps to a 31.8mm handlebar and comes with K-Edge’s lifetime warranty.

The mount will be available to consumers from 25 April for $69.99.
