The Cycle Show will move from London’s Earls Court to the NEC arena in Birmingham next year to allow for “significant expansion”, according to organisers.
Up to 35,000 people are expected to visit the show, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2011 and will take place from 29 September to 2 October.
Event director Andrew Brabazon said: “With huge support from the world’s best brands and our features dramatically upscaled, we’re really excited to be delivering a show the like of which has never been seen in the UK.”
Plugging the gap for a show in the capital will be the London Bike Show, announced earlier this year, which will take place from 13-16 January.
Visitors to the new expo, which makes up part of the Outdoors Show, will be able to test ride and buy bikes from some of the world’s biggest brands including Commencal, Cervelo and Saracen. Clothing and accessories will be available to purchase too.
