Mio have released a software update available to all users of their Cyclo 300 computer. Via a combination of customer-based feedback and advances in technology, the brand claim to have implemented many improvements.

The free update is available through the MioShare desktop application, which is found on the system drive of every Cyclo device or can be downloaded from www.mioshare.com.

Navigation instructions are said to have been improved, with arrows and distance figures more clearly displayed, while the maps themselves have been revised to concentrate on visibility and user friendliness.

Additional functionality has been added to the Surprise Me feature, and advanced options now allow you to change preferences in advance of each route. Users can choose between a mountain biker, racing biker or city rider profile and allow or disallow certain terrain (cobblestones, major roads, and so on) depending on weather conditions and personal preferences.

Device management has also been reworked to allow users to delete or edit their history, tracks, favorites, addresses and points of interest directly on their device.

According to Mio, more than 150 smaller improvements have also been made in addition to the changes above. For more information, see the Mio website.
