Meet the new DT Swiss Gravity wheel

DT Swiss is taking the bold move of offering the new Gravity wheels only for 27.5in bikes; there is no 26in or 29in option. That number also applies to the brand-new aluminium rim extrusion, whose fat and semi-triangular profile wears a generous 27.5mm internal width to better support high-volume tyres. The internal shape is tubeless friendly, too, for easy conversions.

The new dt swiss gravity wheels will only be available in a 27.5in diameter. not only that but the internal width is also a generous 27.5mm: the new dt swiss gravity wheels will only be available in a 27.5in diameter. not only that but the internal width is also a generous 27.5mm

Those rims are built around the company's lightweight – but versatile – 240s hubs with a six-bolt rotor interface and easily convertible axles for use with multiple interface standards. Each wheel is built with 14g non-butted, J-bend stainless steel spokes with J-bend heads for easier replacement, all arranged in a conventional 32-hole, three-cross pattern. To further ease spoke replacement when necessary, the lengths are printed right on the rim, too.
