650b mountain bike wheels were one of the big trends at this month's Eurobike show and it looks like they're even making their way into downhill racing.

Intense Cycles have posted this picture on their Facebook page of a new M9275 prototype that's based on their M9 downhill bike, but with 27.5in wheels.

Bionicon's B-Post dropper seatpost

Germany's Bionicon were showing off a very interesting prototype at Eurobike – a dropper seatpost integrated into one of their frames. This saves weight, as the shaft slides directly into a specially modified seat tube, removing the need for a separate lower tube.

Bionicon reckon the production B-Post will weigh sub-300g – not much heavier than a standard alloy post and a full 250g lighter than a RockShox Reverb.
