Schlamm name their ’Crossline clothing after the locations of famous cyclo-cross courses, like Koksijde, Wetzikon, Hooglede and Portland.

Their newest item, a mid-weight warm-up jacket, follows suit. It’s named after the Czech Republic’s 'cross haven, and venue of the 2010 world championships, Tabor.

In less than 20 days, the world’s best racers will converge there. Schlamm’s test riders Amy Dombroski (USA), Helen Wyman and Gabby Day (GB), and Ian Field (GB) will bring the new jacket as part of their arsenal against the sub-zero temperatures and icy courses that give Tabor its infamous reputation.

The Tabor jacket combines the features of Schlamm’s winter weight Wetzikon jacket with a lighter Roubaix fabric. It sports three standard rear pockets, a rainproof pocket with zipper closure, zip sleeve cuffs to accommodate gloves and a tall 4in collar. The jacket is available now for £90 (US$135) from cyclocrossworld.com and cyclocross-stuff.com.
