Courtesy e-bikes are being offered to motorists at a Newcastle car dealership when they take their vehicle in for service.
The novel, environmentally-friendly idea is being offered at Benfield Motor Group’s city centre stores on Portland Road (Nissan) and Benfield Road (Renault) as an antidote to the current like-for-like system.
It’s been supported by electric bike specialists Storck Raddar UK, who will be supplying Benfield with their Multitask model. The idea came about through suggestions from Benfield’s customers and Benfield were happy to oblige.
“This is a great idea from the team at Benfield Motor Group who are not only keen cyclists but forward thinking on electric transport,” said Ian Hughes, Managing Director of Storck Raddar UK.
