Details of the Olympic Park’s post-games cycling legacy will be on display to the public in London tonight.

The meeting, at Stratford Town Hall from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, is being held by the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) and will show details of the proposed Velopark’s road cycle circuit and mountain bike trail.

The exact details of the ‘Velopark’ have been going back and forth for a number of months now, with the OPLC’s bid to alter the size of the road circuit strongly opposed by British Cycling and Sport England. However, a universally accepted plan was agreed in August and includes a one mile road cycling circuit and a mountain bike trail in the north east of the park.

The public can view the plans tonight before the OPLC submits a planning application later this month.
