There’s still time to enter our selfie competition and win a Boardman bike worth £1,000 but be warned – we’ve already had an avalanche of entries.

If the chance to win one of the fine machines in Boardman’s Performance range isn’t enough to inspire you to enter, then surely an excuse to get out and ride your bike is.

Because that’s all you have to do – get out on your bike and snap a pic of yourself in the most remote riding spot you can get to in the UK.

You have until 22 April to enter but in the meantime you can see a selection of some of the highlights we’ve already received in the gallery above.

It doesn’t matter what type of riding you do, you just need to jump on your bike and get out into the great British outdoors.

You can shoot yourself recovering having just ridden down a remote stretch of road or preparing to tear up an untouched trail. It doesn’t matter what type of bike you’re on, it could be a road bike, mountain bike, tandem or unicycle – we’re just looking for shots of you and your bike in the farthest-flung, quietest corners of the UK.

And if you do decide to snap yourself while you’re riding, for God’s sake be careful and keep an eye on where you’re going.
