New UK road team Orbea-For Goodness Shakes! have announced their 2010 line-up, which includes a mix of experienced racers and young talents.

The Essex-based squad, who have risen from the ashes of the BMC UK Racing Team, will compete in the Premier Calendar, Tour Series and National Circuit Series.

They will be captained by Andy Lyons, with other notable signings including Lewis Atkins, Kristian Downs, Matt Ewings and Marcel Six. Several young guns will be retained from the team's previous guise: Steven Griffiths, Daniel Kogan and Joe Skipper.

Finishing off the line-up are Dean Shannon, Ben Thompson and team manager James Whatling, who told BikeRadar: "It's been a tricky year signing riders with all the new teams around, but we've spent a lot of time looking and are really happy with the guys who've come on board for 2010."

The squad will meet later this month to undergo physiological testing at the Human Performance Unit at the University of Essex.
