This Paul Smith designed courier bag caught our eye in the office recently and it's easy to see why.

The bag is clearly aimed at the city rider who wants to stand out and features the striped mini with Rapha Condor-Sharp Cycling Team on the front flap.

For high-priced fashion item haters, let’s get this out of the way first – the bag is £215.

It has an adjustable shoulder and waist strap to keep it stable while on the bike, and is fitted with a quick release strap for speedy unloading. There’s a concealed zip pocket at the back of the bag plus a flap opening with a Velcro fastening and double plastic clasp.

The inside of the bag is lined with a purple canvas with storage pockets and a UVA laptop protective lining.

The courier bags will be available from Bloomsbury and Rapha. In a similar vein, there's also a Paul Smith wash bag for sale with Paul's favourite cycling jerseys on it.

Although the courier bag has been inspired by the Rapha-Condor team, it will not form part of the Rapha + Paul Smith collection, which is set to be launched on 1 October 2010,

Cycling Plus magazine will have a full review of the bag soon, in the meantime tell us whether you will be buying one for the commute. Let us know below:
