Custom road bike specialists Pearson have teamed up with Cycle Surgery. Their frames and made-to-order bikes will now be available through the bike shop chain's 21 UK stores and website.

Pearson are now in their 151st year and company director William Pearson said they'd been on the lookout for a retailer that matched their needs. “Cycle Surgery are a perfect size to maintain well informed advice and give us great UK-wide exposure," he said. "Customers will have a first-hand opportunity to inspect frames in store, discuss personal bike builds or buy and build a bike themselves."

The initial range available through Cycle Surgery includes the Pearson Carbon Pro, Palace, Pave, Carbon Audax and Touch singlespeed, all of which are available now. Cycle Surgery’s Paul Wilson said the company – owned by outdoors chain Snow+Rock – had been looking to move into the custom end of the market.

“Road bike sales over the last few years have been fantastic for us and recently our staff have had more customers requesting a custom build service,” he said. “We're incredibly proud of this partnership and we're looking forward to an exciting summer.”
