Cycle clothing label Rapha has released details of the new gear they’ll be supplying the Team Sky pro riders and their avid supporters with in 2014.

We’ve already had a peek at the skimpy, see-through mesh skinsuit that Rapha will provide 2013 Tour de France winner Chris Froome and the rest of the team in 2014.

The Pro Collection range will include a mesh jersey (that appears to have the same construction as Froome’s skinsuit) and some new cycling gloves with different materials over each thumb to either wipe the forehead or around the nose and mouth.

The 2014 standard Pro jersey (£140) has fewer seams than last year, and the back pockets have an angled cut to allow hands to find energy gels and bars more easily. The team will get the standard blue and black Team Sky jersey and there’s a light blue version for supporters.

Completing the Pro Collection is a wet bag designed to the specs of the team’s riders.

Items in the Pro Collection are recreated in the Replica range for keen cyclists wishing to emulate their heroes. Rapha are also bringing back the personalised jersey option, so fans can have their name sublimated onto the side panel, and a non-technical Supporters set, where the emphasis falls on off-the-bike comfort.

The range includes Jeans, a merino hoodie, some special edition T-shirts and a spray jacket.
