Rapha are to hold a series of cycle rides across the world to raise funds for victims of the devastating Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Money raised will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross.

So far, 22 events have been confirmed in the UK, US, Canada, Denmark and Japan, starting tomorrow; you can view a full list below. Rapha – who have a team of riders based in Nagano prefecture – are keen to stress that "it's not a race, but a social ride in support of Japan".

Riders are asked to donate at least £10 to take part. The company will match all donations. If you don't want to take part but would still like to donate, you can do so via Rapha's website., where you'll also find more information about the rides.
