RATIO are a new company started by Italian bike industry veteran Pancrazio Centola, who has previously worked for the likes of 3T and Deda Elementi. As well as some promising-looking carbon fibre road frames and forks, they're launching a range of Taiwanese-made components and accessories, and we've been given an exclusive first look by UK distributors Hotlines.

The range is split into two halves: Tacto, which is carbon fibre or carbon-wrapped kit, and Ineo, made from 7050 aluminium alloy. There's a choice of bars and stems, plus carbon posts, a bottle cage, front derailleur clamp, seat clamp and headset, as well as various tool/pump/CO2 cartridge holders. Here's a quick look at some of the key products.

Tacto ISD integrated seatpost

The product that most grabbed our attention was the mini carbon post for integrated seatmasts. A series of nine 3mm spacers let you adjust your seat height in the same way you'd adjust your stem, and you can also change the offset of the forged alloy head from 18-30mm and the saddle angle by /-15°. Titanium bolts are used to shave grams, and the 190mm-long post weighs in at a claimed 173g. RRP £99.99.

Tacto CSD Classic seatpost

This full-length seatpost is also available, with the same features as the integrated version (minus the spacers and expander wedge), in 250-400mm lengths. Claimed weight is 185g (350mm). It's only available for 31.6mm seat tubes. RRP £99.99.

Tacto carbon stem

RATIO tacto carbon-wrapped 7050-t6 aluminium stem: ratio tacto carbon-wrapped 7050-t6 aluminium stem - James Costley-White/BikeRadar

RATIO's Tacto stem is made from carbon-wrapped 7050-T6 alloy, with titanium screws. Available in lengths from 50-120mm, it weighs in at a claimed 115g (100mm). It takes a 31.8mm (oversize) bar and standard 1-1/8in (28.6mm) fork. RRP £104.99.

Ineo alloy bar

The alloy Ineo bar is available in 400/420/440mm widths, to fit a 31.8mm stem. With a horizontal top section, 130mm drop and 75mm reach, it weighs 270g. RRP £49.99.

Tacto carbon bar

The carbon monocoque Tacto bar adds 3° of backsweep and 6° of downsweep, and weighs in at a claimed 205g (without cable guides, which are available separately). RRP £149.99.

Tacto carbon headset

RATIO carbon headset: ratio carbon headset - James Costley-White/BikeRadar

RATIO's headset has a full-carbon cap and sealed bearing. Versions are available for 1-1/8in and 1-1/5in steerers, and in three heights: 15, 20 and 25mm. Claimed weight is 69g. RRP £31.99.

3K carbon bottle cage

RATIO 3k carbon bottle cage: ratio 3k carbon bottle cage - James Costley-White/BikeRadar

The carbon cage seems particularly well thought out, with a rubber security latch to stop your bottle falling out and a barely-there weight of just 19g (claimed). It's also available in white. RRP £26.99.

Carbon front derailleur and seat clamps

RATIO carbon front derailleur clamp and seat clamp: ratio carbon front derailleur clamp and seat clamp - James Costley-White/BikeRadar

RATIO's front derailleur and seat clamp will add a touch of carbon class to any bike. The front mech clamp (£15.99) is available for 34.9mm seat tubes only and weighs a claimed 5g. The seat clamp is available with titanium (10g, £21.99) or steel (12g, £18.99) bolts, to fit 31.8, 34.9, 36 or 38.6mm tubes.
