The Ride Around London sportive, in association with sports charity Access Sport, will return this September after a successful debut in 2011.

The date to reserve in your diary for the ride is Sunday 30 September which, like last year, is offering two routes; the 115-mile long route (£30) starting at Herne Hill Velodrome and the shorter 60-mile option (£28), beginning from Alexandra Gardens in Windsor.

Both routes follow roughly the same path as last year, taking in sights such as Box Hill, the North Downs, Eton Dorney and the Chilterns before finishing at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in North London.

A fundraising target of £75 is encouraged, which will go towards helping children, particularly in disadvantaged areas, the opportunity to take part in quality local sport. Visit the event website for more information.
