It's not very often that you get the chance to ride alongside a former Tour de France, Giro d'Italia and World Road Race Championships winner. But here's your chance, as 1987 Triple Crown champion Stephen Roche joins forces with the Yorkshire Festival of Cycling.

BikeRadar has teamed up with the organisers of the festival to bring you the opportunity to ride alongside Roche on Friday, 4 July. You can join the former professional cyclist on a 36-mile route through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

The circuitous journey, led by the hugely experienced Patrick and Simon from Ride Cadence, will leave from Harewood House at 8am next Friday.

To take up this opportunity, visit the entry page on the Festival of Cycling website, choose ‘Enter now’ and then the relevant led ride (you do not need a festival ticket to take part in this ride – access to the festival is free of charge on 4 July). Tickets cost £25 each. Be quick, however, as places are going fast!
