Yesterday we broke news that Specialized was reworking its S-Works Demo gravity rig around 27.5in wheels. Today, Santa Cruz Bicycles is following suit, pulling the lid off the latest iteration of V10, complete with 27.5in wheels.

Santa Cruz isn’t releasing many details, other that stating that Syndicate racers may be putting the new bike through the paces at this weekend’s World Cup stop at Mont Sainte Anne.

“While we're unable to confirm any details about the bikes the guys are racing on in Mont Sainte Anne, we're not going to deny that what you see here isn't happening,” read a statement released by the company.

The new bike already has one win under its belt: last month Josh Bryceland won the UK National Championships on this rig.
