Santa has swapped his sleigh for a bike and hit the streets of London with a sack full of goodies for well-behaved cyclists. Christmas hasn't come early – he's just doing his bit to promote the new London Bike Show by handing out over 9,000 freebies.
If you live in London and you're unable to pick up a treat from Father Christmas, fear not – from today free rucksack and saddle covers will be available from many of the capital's bike shops. Some 3,000 saddle covers will also be left at bike racks across the city.

The London Bike Show 2011 takes place from 13-16 January at London’s ExCeL. It'll feature a fantastic range of products, from top-end track, road and mountain bikes to electric bikes, BMXs and commuter bikes, along with demo rides, stunt displays and the chance to meet cycling stars.
