We check out Effetto Mariposa’s tyre sealant and rim tape range at Eurobike 2015.
There are plenty of tyre sealants on the market, but Caffe Latex from Effetto Mariposa has no ammonia and is tyre and rim friendly. For 2015 Effetto Mariposa is introducing a new easy to use 60ml screw top sachet. The new packet is designed to be thrown in your bag and features a tube to inject directly into the valve even if that valve doesn’t have a removable core. Each packet is enough for one mtb tyre or two road tubulars.
Effetto Mariposa was also showing off its tubeless conversion adhesive rim strips. Super light at under 30g and very puncture resitant, the mtb strips will soon be available for fatbikes too.
Finally, Carogna is a double-sided rim tape for use with any tubular, whether tubeless or handmade. As reliable as the best traditional mastic installation, getting set-up with a tubular using Carogna tape takes only minutes.
