The fourth Chain Reaction Cycles MTB Marathon Series 2010 powered by the Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport takes place this weekend (31 July – 1 August) in Selkirk, on the Scottish Borders.

There are four mountain bike courses to choose from:

  1. Mini marathon – approx. 25km
  2. Half marathon – approx. 50km
  3. Middle marathon – approx. 75km
  4. Full marathon - approx. 100km

Each route promises endless miles of sweet singletrack, stunning scenery and some of the best trails in the UK, through the TweedValley, EttrickForest, Elibank and the Traquair forest.

According to event organiser Mike Wilkens: “The round in Selkirk has established itself over the last few years as the most loved and talked about course of the series - and the 2010 round will try once again to go for the crown.”
