ŠKODA UK has secured a three year sponsorship to become the 'Official Car of Prudential RideLondon' over the weekend of 3-4 August 2013.

The deal will see ŠKODA provide 30 cars to support the 140 mile London Surrey Classic, a UCI 1.1 ranked road race that will have a field of 150 professional riders.

Race director Mick Bennett, who also runs the Tour of Britain, said: "ŠKODA UK is providing us with ideal support vehicles for the 140 mile course. ŠKODA’s record in cycling is second to none and we’re delighted to be working with them on this great event."

The Prudential RideLondon will take place over the weekend of 3-4 August 2013. It's being billed as the UK's biggest mass-participation cycling festival with over 70,000 cyclists expected to take part in four events. Events include the Surrey 100 sportive and Surrey Classic road race, as well as a free eight mile mass-participation ride - FreeCycle- and the Prudential RideLondon Grand Prix races, which will take place on a 1.3 mile closed circuit around St James’s Park.
