From the US$2,450 CruX E5 Sport Apex Disc to the US$6,300 CruX Pro Race Red Disc, BikeRadar obtained the following sneak peek at part of Specialized's 2014 cyclocross bike range (the S-Works models are notably absent here). UK pricing is not yet available.

Notably, the California company has heartily embraced SRAM's hydraulic disc brakes for 2014, but kept a few cantilever models in the mix too.

CruX Pro Race Red Disc

In what could be a first for a major manufacturer, Specialized is selling this top-end race bike (US$6,300 and shown on the right) with tubular wheels for race days and clinchers for training days.

The carbon disc frame comes with the Specialized Roval Rapide CL 40 Disc Tubular wheelset, Specialized Terra (wet/muddy conditions) tubular tires, and an AXIS 2.0 Disc clincher wheelset.

Other highlights include the new SRAM Red 22 Hydro disc group, with a Specialized Pro FACT carbon crankset that uses Red 22 rings.

CruX Expert Red Disc

Also featuring the SRAM Red 22 Hydro disc group, the CruX Expert Red Disc (US$4,200) is built up from a carbon frame, tubeless wheels and tires, and a Specialized cockpit.

The E5 moniker for the CruX E5 Sport Apex Disc (US$2,450) signifies Specialized's aluminum frame line. The bike comes with SRAM's wide-gear-range Apex group. As with the Elite Rival Disc, the E5 Sport Apex uses S-700 Hydro levers for 10-speed hydraulic performance.
