Strider Sports has found success with its 12-inch, no-pedal balance bike for young kids learning to ride, and it now has a 16-inch version for larger kids. The Strider Super 16 features 16-inch wheels, larger footrests, no pedals of course, and a caliper handbrake, which the smaller version does not have.
Weighing in at a claimed 15 pounds (6kg), the Super 16 has pneumatic tires (the smaller Striders have solid tires), aluminum rims and steel hubs.
The saddle and handlebar are height adjustable.
The bike comes in blue, green or red.
