Braking compound can separate from the backplate

SwissStop has recalled all EXOTherm disc brake pads

SwissStop has issued a recall of all EXOTherm disc brake pads. According to the brake pad manufacturer, the braking compound can separate from the backplate, leading to a crash hazard.

Owners of bicycles equipped with EXOTherm brake pads are urged to stop riding them immediately.

This recall applies to all models of EXOTherm brake pads.

Owners are urged to contact their place of purchase to arrange for a return and a full refund.
