Tacx was at this year's Eurobike show and walked us through its new NEO 2T smart trainer.

The Tacx NEO 2T Smart is Tacx’s flagship trainer for 2020 with four big improvements compared to the old NEO 2.

An update to the motor’s magnets provides increased torque for a more realistic ride feel — particularly on steep climbs — while improved placement makes the trainer significantly quieter too.

The new NEO 2T supports left and ride pedal stroke analysis on third-party software via ANT+. Improved axle compatibility means the trainer is now directly compatible with 135 × 10, 142 × 12 and 148 × 12mm axles.
