World Cup downhill mountain biker Tahnee Seagrave has teamed up with breast cancer awareness charity Coppafeel via a special fundraising competition.

The CoppaFeel charity encourages women to regularly check their breasts for signs of cancer, with helpful how-to guides and advice on what to look out for. There’s even a reminder service that sends you a text or email when it’s time to have a feel! With one in eight women experiencing breast cancer in their lifetime, early detection is critical for increasing the chances of successful treatment.

Seagrave, whose first season as an elite racer in 2014 saw her on the podium numerous times, is a sporting ambassador for the charity, and has put her own spin on its fundraising endeavours with #Copparide. Each pink Copparide wristband purchased gives you a unique number that's entered into a prize draw, and there are some rather special prizes to be won.

The prizes up for grabs include a week-long holiday at Rude Chalets in Morzine, custom race kit, helmet and goggles, and the grand prize: Seagrave’s limited edition Fort William World Cup Devinci DH race bike.

There are only 5,000 numbers to be had, and of course all of the money generated from the sale of the wristbands goes back to the charity. Head over to FMD racing to purchase a wristband and find out more.

You can donate directly via JustGiving, and there’ll also be special edition Copparide t-shirts produced by Fox Clothing available to buy online and at the Fort William DH World Cup shortly.
