The London Bike Show is to return to the ExCeL centre in 2012 after a successful debut event this year. Once again, it will run alongside the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show and The Outdoors Show, from 12-15 January.

Tens of thousands of people visited this year's show – the combined box office for the bike and outdoors shows sold 30,386 tickets, and over the four days when the bike show was open, 57,468 visitors to the boat show also had free entry. Organisers say the event has now been firmly established on the London calendar and will grow for 2012.

Dominic Langan, chief executive of distributors Madison, who had several stands at the show, said: “The co-location with The Outdoors Show and the London International Boat Show connected us with a much much broader market than has been possible at other events. We reached thousands of new customers and it was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of our new brands.”
