Trek to release 29in Fuel EX and Remedy models

Trek promises a third "major" release at the end of the month

The Trek Fuel EX 29 and Remedy 29 will soon be hitting shops, but Trek is still holding back public information. Further, Trek is promising a "major" release at the end of the month.

Trek notified retailers today in North America and Australia about the two new models. Trek will be officially launching the bikes at the end of the month, and has declined to share images or information about the trail bikes. The 26in version of the Fuel EX is a 130mm bike, while the 26in Remedy is a heavier-duty model at 150mm.

The mystery third bike will also be revealed at the end of the month at a media launch in Sedona, Arizona. "And no, it’s not a 650b bike," said Trek mountain bike brand manager Travis Ott in an email. "It’s much better than that."
