The 12,000-mile UK National Cycle Network has been digitally mapped and is now available on CD from Memory-Map.

The new software allows you to plot routes using traffic-free lanes and paths, traffic-calmed areas and other cycle-friendly options.

Existing users of Memory Map can add the Sustrans network as an overlay to their existing V5 maps.

Routes can be printed out or downloaded to a GPS device, pocket PC or Smartphone.

Julian Hunt, Sustrans’ information and trading manager, said: “This software will attract a whole new audience to the National Cycle Network. It will provide a simple-to-use digital guide for cyclists on long-distance rides and show people how to find shortcuts to the shops, school or work which will make it quicker and easier to making the same journey by car.”

You can buy the Sustrans network on Memory-Map now for £20 from www.sustransshop.co.uk, www.memory-map.co.uk and all good cycle shops.
