Velothon Wales organisers have released an extra 1,500 places for the new closed-road mass-participation sportive, after 10,000 general entries were snapped up in advance of the event, which takes place 14 June 2015.
Once these final 1,500 spaces are sold, any remaining spaces will be available only through Velothon Wales’ charity partners.
Velothon Wales is a new cycling event based in Cardiff and the surrounding countryside. Similar in format to RideLondon, the event will feature thousands of cyclists taking on a 100km or 50km closed-road course ahead of a UCI-sanctioned professional race.
