Olympic and world track cycling champ Victoria Pendleton has shed her kit for a racy shoot in this month’s FHM magazine.
The 28-year-old is described by FHM’s website as having “the sort of legs that could, should you inadvertently find yourself in a sexual embrace with the woman, kill you”.
In the magazine she goes on to say: “I’m quite proud of them. I know it’s not very feminine to have big muscly thighs, but I worked hard in the gym – they don’t wobble, they’re not cellutlite-y.”
Perhaps more controversial are her comments about her fellow cyclists: “Some of the girls I race against are quite masculine and have very low voices and facial hair…”
Pendleton, who lives in Cheshire, won her fourth world sprint gold in five years in Poland earlier this year, and topped the podium at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. She was made an MBE in the New Year Honours.
The full interview is in FHM, out today.
