Here's a trio of videos from our day with British cross-country star Annie Last, Chris Boardman and former pro Bart Brentjens this week.

Last, who races for the Dutchman's Milka Brentjens MTB Racing Team, raced in the first ever XC Eliminator at the UCI World Cup in Houffalize, Belgium last weekend. The ferocious new format sees 32 riders pitted against each other in four-rider races across a single timed lap (530m in Houffalize). A dominant performance saw Last fire the opening salvo in the three-race series and in the first video, she gives her verdict on the weekend.

While final selection hasn't yet been announced, it's likely that Last will be part of the British Olympic cross-country team for London. In the second video, Chris Boardman talks us through the bike she'll be aboard this summer.

It's currently at the prototype stage, so it's sporting Boardman Bike's development department moniker B56 on the top tube. She's played a big part in the design of the bike, particularly the geometry, and the ideas that have gone into it will find their way into their next cycle of new bikes in 2013.

Finally is Last's boss at Milka Brentjens, Bart Brentjens, offering his pros and cons of the newly re-designed Olympic mountain bike course at Hadleigh Farm which he had the chance to ride recently, as well as his verdict on the winners this summer.
