The Atherton Project, a web video series from renowned mountain bike film producer Clay Porter, follows the famous siblings as they compete in the 2010 UCI World Cup and World Championships.
In this second episode, Gee and Rachel head to Gauvia, Portugal for the first round of the Maxxis Cup. It’s Rachel’s first race in a year, so will she be up to speed, or will nerves get the better of her?
Meanwhile, Dan travels to Madrid, Spain to race in round one of the UCI BMX Supercross, and at first is daunted by the new discipline. "When we first got to Madrid my first thoughts were, 'Jesus, this is throwing me in at the deep end'," he says. "I kind of felt those same feelings you get when you go to your first mountain bike World Cup."
