Some of the world's top framebuilders showed off amazing custom bikes of all shapes and sizes at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show in Richmond, Virginia last week.

We've covered many of the highlights of the event, including news on bicycles made of steel, titanium and aluminium, the amazing attention to detail and graphics that some companies showcased, carbon and bamboo bikes, machines taking advantage of Shimano’s Dura-Ace Di2 groupset and models from Cielo, Vanilla and Pegoretti.

In this video, filmed by Martin Renwick of Vuelo Velo, Don Walker explains how he got into framebuilding and justifies his focus on performance, Dario Pegoretti of Pegoretti Cicli reveals how he followed in his father's footsteps and how it's important to have respect for the past, and Sacha White of Vanilla Bicycles talks of his background in scooter restoration and the craft of bicycle building.
