X-Fusion Hilo adjustable seatpost – First look

Suspension company X-Fusion have released a new 100mm-travel adjustable seatpost called the Hilo.

The £185 post can hydraulically adjust anywhere within its 100mm of travel using either a cable actuated handlebar remote or a lever under the seat (both of which are included in the price).

It weighs a claimed 1.3lb and will be available in 27.2, 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters, in either black or silver/black. It’s expected to be available in November 2010 via Propel Bike in the UK. Look out for a test on BikeRadar.
