This POV camera shoots 1,080-pixel footage at 60 frames per second, 720p at 120fps and 480p at a whopping 240fps.
It can also capture 13.5-megapixel still images, with its Carl Zeiss lens providing excellent image quality and colour. It’s showerproof and weighs just 92g (although if you stick it in its waterproof and bashproof casing, the weight roughly doubles).
The optional stabilising feature gives a very smooth picture without sacrificing sharpness – we rode with a loose mount and though the camera movement was noticeable, the image remained clear. It deals with low light and transitions well too.
Though it struggled a couple of times when going from dark to bright on surfaces with lots of glare – wet road surfaces, for example – the image remained sharp, with minimal noise.
The wrist-worn remote is easy to use but can’t play back footage, which is frustrating, and the standard helmet mount only works on full-face or pisspot lids with a large surface area.
A side mount is available and offers a better position than the on-top mount, which exposes the camera to low branches.
